Brief summary: I had a really difficult time coming up with 'teamwork' so I decided to take a different tact. The S/V Yahoo group does RR from time to time, and this one was the first. It was a lot of run, and as you can see, this fic was the effort of 8 authors. The story centers around the boys coming back from the States, and each author gets to share a tale of their choosing. These are all fun and naughty stories, and its wonderful to see so many authors writing one big story. If you've not read much UK fic, you might enjoy getting a taste of different authors and this is a wonderful way to do it!

Brief summary: If you ever wanted to know what a jealousy and determined Stuart would be like, read this story! Cameron and Vince live off to live in Australia, and Stuart finally swallows his pride and goes after Vince. I really like how hard Stuart fights for Vince, not to mention Cameron's tenacity at trying to win back Vince, before he finally comes to his senses. (Vince that is!) What I love about this story is that once the boys are together, they have so much fun. The sex is hot and sweet and real, and Addie has a real knack for writing them in fun situations. This is a great long read, and definitely one you can sink your teeth into. Highly recommended!

Brief summary: A night of drinking leads to Stuart finally confessing his one regret. I like the way the author did this -- because I think its entirely plausible for Stuart to get completely pissed and admit flat out about regretting that he didn't get a chance to shag Vince when they were younger. I really like how they don't shag immediately, and that Vince assumes that Stuart is lying, or just being his usual self. A great read with some loving shagging to boot!

This story takes them from when they first meet, up until the present, the feelings still there, things always unsaid, but known. A great read.

Brief summary: What I like about this story is that Paddy writes relationships so true to life. I picked this one specific for anger because of the second half of this story. It illustrates perfectly how people in relationships feel at times, how they are cruel and biting, without necessarily wanting to be -- they just are. The stress of real life, of the working day and of just being around someone all the time are wonderfully illustrated here. I think Paddy handles their relationship so well and so true to life. This story also has some wonderful non-angry parts as well.

Brief summary: Set post-series. Stuart and Vince head back home to visit. What is most interesting though, is what happens on the plane ride back to the states. It's the little details in this fic that make me love it so much: Vince listening to Doctor Who on cd, Stuart and Lisa's sniping at each other and of course, Vince's ability to read Stuart's mind and just 'get' him so well. A really lovely read!

Brief summary: What I like about this story is that Stuart is the on on the defensive for once, and he has to find Vince. Stuart does something shockingly bad, even for him, and Vince takes off with his credit cards. I picked this one specifically for Redemption because Stuart owns up to his actions and actually tries to fix things, giving Vince space and time -- and is rewarded with getting back the one thing he only ever wanted. A great read.

I really liked Stuart as well, smooth and cautious, but obviously interested in knowing more. The sex is hot and Jez leaves us with the hope of something more for each of them. I think this story screams for a sequel, so if you enjoy it, please let the author know!

A really excellent piece of angst and want.

A fun read, and an unconventional way to share holiday um...cheer. :) She also gives us the 'sweet' by having Stuart tell Vince he loves him, for the very first time. The sex is hot, and I love how they both just let go.

I really love how she has a great grasp of Vince's Doctor Who obsession. A sweet fic and a wonderful read!

We also get a wonderful memory from Vince of when he and Stuart went the movies as teens, complete with them being pissed and getting some good snogs. I adored how Stuart just keeps making the situation worse, and how Vince tries so hard to play the straight man here, so to speak. Great bit with the ice cream cone too.

A fun read!

Brief summary: What I really love here is that Steph shows Stuart and Vince so much how I imagine them as teenagers. What I enjoy so much is that I see Vince here already holding in the anger and the feelings that we see so clearly on his face in the series. Also, I love how Stuart is so insistent on making up with him after screwing up -- and not taking Vince's 'no' for an answer. It also shows a brilliant un-apology from Stuart, and most likely the start of the Doctor Who apology watching Stuart has had to endure for many years. And, the best part is that Steph gives us the most lovely bit of sweetness with the two of them on the sofa. This fic warms my heart.

Brief summary:The thing I love about this story is Sue's details. She really does a wonderful job at rounding at the characters in a totally believable fashion. Also, Stuart's seduction of Vince is so damn sexy, the computer melts. Whenever I need a surefire first time/seduction fix, I go to this fic. Not only is the sex hot, but we have jealousy, Cameron pulling a door off, and what I love most -- an epilogue of sorts that gives us a 'What Happens After" fix.

Brief summary: What I love about this story is that I can absolutely see Stuart being this underhanded. He would go to the nth degree, once he had his mind set on it. It also shows that Vince isn't some sad bastard (because he isn't, at all), and that he just does fine on his own. It's interesting to see Stuart here, as he is the one who has been suffering for once, and he is the one that has been denied something. A great little fic from Zappa, who writes them both so well!

I loved the ending -- so much possibility, to go either way.
