Brief summary: The AU of the AU's. Shella took a very brave step and set Stuart/Vince in 75AD Roman-occupied Britiannia. Vincentius is a Roman soldier who is sent to Glevum to work. Acanthis is a Celt slave who catches Vincentius's eye. What I love about this story so very much is that she keeps the essence of each character there, even through they are so far removed from modern times. She is building up this WIP so well, giving us equal doses of angst, drama, and yes, naughtiness. At the same time, you really get the feel for the time, as well as the constraints that this relationship is under. She has taken her time to research and be as accurate as she can. What I really love about this story is that you feel like you are reading a book. The plot is well thought out and a real joy to read. This is a WIP; Shella writes at a fairly fast clip, so I don't hesitate to recommend this, even if you usually wait to read WIP's.

Brief summary: A story set while Stuart is away at Uni. I really loved the premise of the story, with Stuart wanting Vince, and thinking he wasn't good enough for him. I picked this for Denial because it's so obvious that Stuart is forcing himself not to want Vince, to refuse the belief that they would be good together.

But soon the glow left. The spunk had become cold and sticky. I felt dirty having these thoughts about my best mate. I couldn't think like this.
