Ein Kind, das ein Licht für die Welt sein soll - das klingt nach Weihnachten, ist aber eine Harry Potter-Geschichte. Ich finde den Ansatz sehr gelungen und Smilla hat es auch hier wieder geschafft, eine Geschichte zu schreiben, die mir wirklich unter die Haut ging.

It is a love story, told through actions rather than words. Eloquent, vivid and angstily beautiful.

Challenges which originate in our list gatherings are definitely always a real challenge, because of the strange combination of words to use. But that's not the reason for this rec. Real reason ist: Methos is not training for some sports competition but for a performance in a strip club and Duncan as usual is a bit too curious. This strip just is pure seduction.

Warum man diese Story unbedingt lesen sollte:
Listentreffenchallenges gehören definitiv zu den echten Herausforderungen, weil die Begriffe doch sehr wirr zusammengestellt sind. Das ist aber nicht der Grund für diese Rec. Der Grund ist: Methos trainiert hier nicht für irgendwas sondern für einen Auftritt im Strip-Club und Duncan war ein wenig zu neugierig. Dieser Strip ist definitiv Verführung pur.

Only this Justin can't leave the house and no one but JC can see him. But he can't stay forever. This might be the only fic that has ever made me cry. JC's pain is so real, as is Lance's. This is a must read even if you don't like death fic.

There is a whole fanfiction universe evolving about 'Echte Kerle' a German film - you could produce at least three other films. This story would be one of them. By the way who would have thought that Higlander and Echte Kerle are such a perfect match. The right story for long dark winter evenings.

Tja, wo soll ich anfangen? Die Story ist spannend. Aislings Chris ist soooooo Chris. Die Chris/Methos-Trainings-Szene ist 'nett'. *eg*
Inzwischen gibt es ein ganzes Universum rund um 'Echte Kerle' - davon könnte man noch mindestens 3 Filme drehen. Diese Geschichte wäre einer davon. Und wer hätte gedacht, daß sich das Highlander Universum so prima in Echte Kerle integrieren ließe. Genau das richtige für lange dunkle Winterabende.

I also love a jealous and worried Stuart, and we get that in full force. I think she also wrote Curt wonderfully in character, and gave us a scorcher of a sex scene between Stuart and Vince. For those interested, there is also a sequel called Nor All Those Who Wander. Both of these are highly recommended -- for people who enjoy both fandoms!

I also love how she shows their understanding of the other, using pauses and short answers to convey so much. The dialogue is realised nicely. Highly recommended!

Why You Should Read It: A new fic about the original team, and how they all work together to make sure one of thier own makes it home. This one was in one of AshtonPress's fanzines, and Ashton is meticulous when it comes to editing, so you know this story is top-notch. I've never been disappointed by a story out of the Redemption series of fanzines so I wasn't surprised when I found the writing to be excellent. The author captures SG-1's individual voices and team spirit perfectly.
