The dreams turn out to have a basis in legend and they proceed to lead the four men, who couldn't be more different then night and day, to embark on a plan of action for Voldemort's final destruction. Plausible and realistic way of putting the four main characters together, I didn't think it could be done before reading, definitely one of the best Harry Potter stories I've had the pleasure to read. The losses Ron suffered and the things he experienced during the war brought a sense of maturity, sadness, and the backbone needed to deal with his cranky and snarky ex-Potions Professor as a patient. The characterization is spot on, the banter between Ron and Snape is absolutely hilarious, and it's probably the best Harry Potter fan fiction story I've ever read and that's saying a lot.
