Why You Should Read It:I'm an unrepentant Daniel shipper. I ship him with almost anyone, but the best and truest pairing is Daniel/Sha'uri (or Sha're depending upon which spelling you prefer). Kiki gives us a completely plausible way for Sha'uri to survive Forever in a Day and gives us a glimpse into what could be a happy ending for this lovely couple. The way the SGC bands together for one of thier own is just perfect, shows a true sense of unity among the command.

Why You Should Read It: OK, I love the premise of this fic. It is so subtly manipulative, you quite simply can't tear your eyes away from this one. Moonshayde is an excellent writer and this one is one of her best.

Well first I should state why I rec this story for this prompt. We say 'er/sie war jung, er/sie brauchte das Geld' (he/she was young and needed the money) when we watch actors in roles of which we think well they may be a little embarrassed when fans find this out. So this cliche is not really fandom specific but we use it in fandom a lot.
So if you want to know what Spike did, when he was young(er) and needed the money, go read the story. It's really funny.

Warum man diese Story unbedingt lesen sollte:
Ok, das Thema heißt Fandom Cliché. Ein wirkliches Klischee eines speziellen Fandoms decke ich mit dieser Story nicht ab. Dafür aber unseren in Fankreisen stehenden Satz 'Er war jung, er brauchte das Geld', was uns einfällt, wenn wir Schauspieler in Rollen sehen, die ihnen heute vielleicht peinlich sind.
Wenn Ihr also wissen wollt, welchen dunklen Punkt Spike in seiner Vergangenheit hat, dann lest diese Story. Sie ist echt witzig.

They aren't overly demonstrative, and the outward face of their relationship is restrained, and I really liked that containment. Because of it, their friendship is front and center to me, and if there happens to be more, it's a bonus, warm and sweet.
