Title: "Angel"
Author: Kay Reynolds
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 45. Trapped.
Rating: R
Length: epic
Brief summary: A staple of Eroica fiction; capture and torture. Klaus and Dorian, at the mercy of their enemies, find a way to band together to gain their freedom. Excellent characterizations and overall plot movement, a great fic.

Title: "Evening Star"
Author: Filigree
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 25. Kink.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: There's a lot I like about this fic. But mostly, there's phone sex. Because Klaus is so... stuffy, this is what counts for kink in the Eroica fandom. And it's a very enjoyable change of pace.

Title: "Goodwill To All Men"
Author: Karen Colohan
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 30. Seduction.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: There was only so long that Klaus could resist with Dorian always running around in black leather. Of course, Dorian always has a plan to seduce Klaus. This time it works. Very well, I might add.

Title: "Calamity is Virtue’s Opportunity"
Author: Sandy K. Herrold
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 03. Angst.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: The interesting part of this fic is how Klaus and Dorian circle each other. Dorian, by trying to help, only pushs Klaus further away. Klaus, by making excuses, only hurts Dorian. Leading to quite a bit of angst, that is only partially resolved by the end. Very intriguing fic.

Title: "A Modern Morality Tale"
Author: Cerise and Vardek
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 43. Denial.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: Of course, any fic that features Klaus could be a denial fic. But what works for me was the added touch of the undercover mission. How much is Klaus doing his job and how much is just him? Very interesting.

Title: "Peripeteia"
Author: Sylvia
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 11. Character Study.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: I found the idea that Klaus had been abused as a child a telling character detail. It would make sense for who the character is and how he behaves. This story also has the requisite healing done between himself and Dorian, which I thought was tastefully done and not overly sappy. Always appreciated in stories such as these. Overall, a very good story about Klaus.

Title: "Never Too Late"
Author: Terri Botta
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 24. Future Fic.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: I like the premise of this fic. That it takes Klaus and Dorian getting older, for them to become wiser. Especially Klaus. To finally realize that life is too short and you have to live it while you can, the best you can. But all in all, a good epic fic. Good action, good drama. Good times.

Title: "Brother of the Sun, Brother of the Moon"
Author: K. L. Fidelius and Countess Grey
Characters: Klaus, Dorian
Prompt: 31. Discovery
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: I like that this story works as a discovery fic on 2 levels: one being the archaeological find connected to Peruvian sun and moon gods. The second being the obvious unresolved issues between Klaus and Dorian. The way the fic plays out just worked for me. Action-packed, good times.

Title: "Favor for a Friend"
Author: Sleeps with Coyotes
Characters: Klaus, Krycek (X-Files)
Prompt: 33. Crossover.
Rating: G
Length: long
Brief summary: I'm not a big X-Files fan but the idea of a camaraderie between Klaus and Krycek amuses me to no end. It makes sense to me and I like that Klaus has some of his stereotypes reversed through his meeting with Krycek. All in all -- a fun, quick story with great character details.

Title: "Heaven's Fools"
Author: BT
Characters: Dorian, Klaus, Kit
Prompt: 27. Original Character.
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: I think it's interesting to look at Dorian and Klaus (particularly Dorian) through a third party. Especially through the eyes of someone a bit young and innocent. Which Kit certainly is. You gain particular insights into the characters that you wouldn't normally get in a story. "Heaven's Fools" is then a great piece of character study, with the original character becoming just as interesting as the characters we already know and love.
