Claim:*NSYNC, JC Chasez
Title: a person of simple tastes
Author: stubbleglitter (
stubbleglitter and at unaware)
Characters: JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick
Prompt: 11. Character study
Rating: NC-17
Length: medium (5110 words)
Summary: I chose this story for JC's character study because the whole thing explores the most important thing about fannish!JC – how he interacts sexually with his bandmates. It's funny and it's hot, and JC's contemplative and reckless and careful and careless and new-age and thinks he knows what's going on. He's looking for The One For Him, and he goes about it in such a classically JC way that there was no other choice for this prompt but this story.
The meditation CD flung into his bathroom sink, JC sat back down and closed his eyes, smiling and bobbing slightly to the rhythmic thumping of his favourite collection of world drumbeats.
Now. What he wanted. It was simple, really -- he wanted a really, really good fucking. JC was a person of simple tastes, when you got down to it. Uh, when you discounted the number of spangled and sparkled things in his wardrobe, but everybody was entitled to have one area of excess, right? In all other things, he was a person of simple tastes. He didn't ask for a love to end all loves, or his true soulmate, or a whirlwind romance. He wasn't Justin, after all.
JC snickered uncharitably for a moment before deciding that mocking a friend's sappy Harlequin heart was bad for the purpose of visualization and assertion, and directed his thoughts back to himself. It made sense to start with people he knew, of course. They were the most accessible, they would be the most amenable. He wasn't interested in fuckbuddies, per se; he wanted something deeper, an abiding fondness and affection -- but mostly just mind-blowing sex.

Title: Perfect Fit
Author: Liz W (
liz_w and at Bedroom Eyes)
Characters: JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, other *NSYNC members
Prompt: 8. Friendship
Rating: hard R
Length: medium (2502 words)
Summary: The guys are all together, but JC's feeling apart and alone, so he goes out to the garage to brood. Joey comes out and makes him feel less alone. They talk first! I love this JC/Joey, because the conversation is so real. You can really hear it happening. And the way JC thinks about how things have changed, and the way Joey commiserates with him, it's all very organic and natural and comfortable. There's the promise of a burgeoning relationship at the end, but really, it's just two friends taking care of each other.
JC turned to see Joey leaning against the door smiling at him, and he relaxed a little. "I was just..." He waved his hand around kind of aimlessly, letting the sentence finish itself. He wasn't even sure what he was doing in here, except that he'd needed to get away.
"Being an antisocial geek?"
Well, that seemed to sum it up. "Maybe." He didn't know how to explain it to Joey, to any of them. That he'd missed being around them all, so much, and now that he had the chance to see all of them he didn't know what to say or how to act. It was as if they'd all changed, not a lot, but just in small increments. Not so much that they didn't recognize each other, but enough so that they didn't... fit. And somehow, that was worse.
