Claim: The Professionals ~ Bodie/Doyle
Title: Transients
Author: Helen Raven
Prompt: 41: Guilt
Rating: NC-17
Length: Long
Brief summary: Another one of my early readings. An AU. Bodie was, untill recently, in CI5. Doyle's a cop turned massage therapist, who's attraction towards his new client and friend makes him feel extremely guilty. Love this one. Great plot, great pace, I especially like how the mutual attraction is not immediate.

At the end of that day, he spent a few minutes with Lucy updating his appointment book.

“Oh, he came back, you know. While you were with your three o’clock.”

“What’re you talking about?”

“That Bodie man. ‘Smiler’ I call him. Because he doesn’t. He said ... um ... it had worked. But he hadn’t realised till he was on his feet and moving around. And he paid.”

“Oh.” Doyle frowned. “He didn’t make another appointment, did he?”

Lucy shook her head.

A broad smile. “Perfect.”

Title: So Here it is, Merry Chrismas

Prompt: 45: Taste
Rating: PG
Length: Medium
Brief summary: Yeah, another Xmas story.
Some Jew I turned out to be... Should be reccing Hanukkah stories or whatever....
This is the most difficult prompt ever. I went with this story because there's a lot of food-talk. It's really great, Doyle being all grumpy because of Christmas, there's reminiscence and sexy-time, it's really sweet and funny.

"Think the world's criminal population deciding to knock off for a few days. Or Cowley rolling up and announcing drinks all round and a ruddy great salary increase--and cancelling this bloody standby."

"Can't you just forget the bad bits? Remember the good stuff?"

"Like being stuck on some bloody stakeout with a thermos of tea and you singing Silent Night and farting?"

"Farting? I resent that."

"So did I, after that Christmas dinner I cooked for you. Well, the first one."
