Brief summary: One of the beauties of SGA as a fandom is the writers' ability to take day characters and turn them into something special. The author has done just that with Stackhouse and Markham, telling a love story in quantum mechanics.
Excerpt: One of his particles suddenly brushes up against something that doesn’t belong to him. Markham pauses, wondering if he should try to get that particle to move somewhere else, or just leave it where it is. Markham still doesn’t get it, so he gives the mental equivalent of a shrug and emphasizes friend again. He wants Stackhouse to know that Markham is still his friend and won’t let anything nasty happen to them, if he can help it.

Brief summary: Another way SGA writers get creative is with structure and format. The author does a surprisingly good job of telling a story in a series of emails, wherein things go snafu and John goes missing. If you grant the author the premise and take any errors as intentional, this is a really fun read.

Subject: Emergency situation in Atlantis.

Dear members of the Atlantis Expedition,

As you may be aware, Atlantis is in the midst of an emergency situation that began at 3:17 AST this morning. The city is under lockdown. Radios and life support are not functioning. Drs. McKay and Zelenka are working on the problem and will hopefully have a solution and an explanation for us soon.
