Brief summary: This is a raw, passionate look at what happens when Jack confronts Samantha after she starts dating Martin, which forces them to stop denying their feelings for each other. His almost uncontrollable anger is a marked contrast to her rage-tinged despair. It's as if their Ids are doing battle with one another. The author does a fantastic job of getting into their heads, and winding the story down to its quiet, powerful last line that never fails to induce chills. It's the perfect angsty capper to this whirlwind of a story.

It's fun and silly and yet kissingchaos9 is still able to retain some subtle sweetness in this fic.
