But the story doesn't take long to dive much deeper, because this isn't just any Tok'ra, but a Tok'ra named Zara/Ayalah who is deeply in love with Colonel Marshall Sumner, and who loses her reason for coming to Atlantis within twenty-four hours of the city's habitation. But, that being said, the story is IMO more about Elizabeth getting an inkling, a preview if you will, of just what the dream is going to cost them all before the end, even more keenly than she did in the episode as it aired. And it's about her taking personal responsibility for every member of her team, even one whose presence she remains slightly dubious of.
