This one stands out because it's Rogue who takes the reins (or... ropes and scarves, if you will) and shows him that they are ready for this step. Also? Wolverine is. Tied. To. The bed. And Rogue is on top. It's sweet, it's hot, it's sexy, and it's everything you want for those two crazy kids to have when they finally get together. I think that what makes this story so powerful is that Wolverine and Rogue are given happiness and then have it taken away. Told from Wolverine's point of view in second person POV, the style of the story creates such a feeling of pathos and closeness. The changes that he goes through in the story are palpable and heartbreaking in the end. ( Excerpt )
