Brief summary: I sort of hate the word cliche, after trying to choose a fic to rec here. Because it always comes out like ... like a bad thing. But obviously I wouldn't be recommending it if it were bad, and this is in fact completely the opposite. It's a Firefly cliche (if I have to use the word) in that Inara chooses to leave the Companion's Guild for Mal, and ... well, it's just fab, and you should read it!

Brief summary: I searched through a lot of communities looking for a good crossover fic to rec, since I don't tend to read Firefly crossovers often. And it turns out that the one I enjoyed the most ended up being one of the newest. This Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover is just a great read, and throws the characters together realistically, even though they don't live in the same time.
