Summary: JC and Justin go to a barbecue at Chris' house and do not have sex – but they would, if JC wanted them to. This is definitely not torch's most recced JC, but JC is often deliciously written as in control, especially in a JC/Justin story, and this is one of the finest, most acute examples of JC's mastery over his and Justin's relationship. He's not negatively domineering; he's just JC and he. is. in. control. And it's ungodly hot.
"We're early," Justin said.
JC checked his watch. "Not really."
"We're early." Justin fumbled with the car door, then glared at JC. "There was time for me to take a shower, you didn't have to rush me like that."
JC shrugged. "So we're a bit early, that's not gonna kill us."
They got out of the car.
"I'm gonna ask Chris if I can use the bathroom here," Justin said across the car. "Or I'll just do it. I know where he keeps the towels."
JC waited until Justin came around the car, moving towards the house. He fell into step beside Justin and wrapped his hand around Justin's wrist. "No," he said, "you're not gonna do that."

JC is a – wait for it – a bitchy barista who hooks up with quirky Chris the office worker while crushing on Chris' co-worker Lance, and it sort of turns out to be love, sort of. Joey is JC's roommate and Justin is JC's friend turned Chris' roommate, and all sorts of random things happen, like lots of sex, and STD testing, and dinner parties and Halloween parties and New Years parties, and the way JC and Chris' relationship unfolds is the most entertaining and heartwrenching thing. I've never pulled so hard for someone so gorgeously, frivolously careless as JC in this story. And they go to a dildo party.
JC swiped a sugary 'J' from the top of his piece and held it out to Chris's mouth. Chris's tongue was soft and wet as he bent and licked JC's finger. "I hope your hands are clean. I don't want to catch anything."
JC licked the remaining traces from his hand. "Anything I've got you've probably caught already. And passed on to Lance."
Chris shook his head. "You're. That's... god, just shut the fuck up."
JC shrugged. "I still can't believe you two are dating."
"Well." Chris looked down, tapping his fingers lightly against the phone. "I suppose I have to break it off with him. Only fair." He looked up again and rolled his eyes at JC. "And don't get all excited about that. You still don't have a chance with him, you fucker."
JC smiled and put his cake down. He quickly stepped in between Chris's legs and kissed him. Chris wasn't getting a cab and wasn't going home and they might as well get started.
Chris kissed him back, immediately, no hesitation or surprise, just wrapped his legs around JC's waist, while JC braced himself against the counter top. There was nothing tentative or awkward about their kisses now, just hot hot hot, like the weather. Like this was natural and right.
