Claim: The Professionals ~ Bodie/Doyle
Title: Phoenix Rising
Author: P.R. Zed
Prompt: 26: Death
Rating: PG
Length: Long
Brief summary: Bodie and Ray are in a relationship, until Bodie is killed during a mission. How will Doyle carry on? But maybe everything's not lost after all.... One of my favorite stories by this writer.

He found Doyle in the parking garage, leaning against the brown Rover , holding the keys in his hand. Murph was unreasonably grateful that Doyle hadn't chosen to check out the silver Capri that had been Bodie's favourite.

Doyle threw him the keys without a word and slouched into the passenger seat. Not knowing what to say, Murph got in the car and began the drive to the flat that, until this morning, Doyle and Bodie had shared.

It was a tense, silent trip. Murphy reckoned that anything he said would be idiotic, so he kept it shut. Doyle was shuttered away in his own world.

Claim: The Professionals ~ Bodie/Doyle
Title: Resolutions and Temptations
Author: PFL
Prompt: 30: Seduction
Rating: NC-17
Length: Long
Brief summary: Yet another Christmas fic, written in a very cool format, each part beginning at a different hour the following day. Doyle makes a resolution and tries to follow it, unsuccessfully,  because of all the temptations... The seduction is there, but quite subtle, more the fun.

He knew he was in Bodie's bed when he woke. There was no mistaking the room, even in the dim light that was all the blind would allow. More than that, there was no mistaking Bodie lying beside him. Not a part of them touched, there was no sharing of space, yet every inch of him was aware of Bodie's presence. Thank God Bodie was asleep.
Doyle eased from the bed, careful not to jostle the mattress too much. He found his clothes in a heap on the floor and quickly pulled them on. His head was aching, and he didn't want to think about food, but it was certainly not the worst hangover he'd ever had. He hadn't been that drunk. If he had been that drunk, he wouldn't be in the position he was in. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath, steadying himself.
