Brief summary: This is a scorchingly hot GSF from the early days in Germany. I love this Lance who's both entranced and worried, wanting to let go but still a little scared of what the future will bring.

Excerpt: Chris stands up to undress and Lance leans back against Joey because the alcohol's starting to fade away and Lance is beginning to feel a little weird about all of this. Joey wraps an arm around his waist, his fingers running over the skin of his stomach, in a soothing, distracting circle.

"You alright?" Joey whispers in Lance's ear, tickling little nerves that run down his spine.

Lance doesn't really know the answer to that. He thinks he's pretty okay, his dick sure thinks this is the best thing that's ever happened to them, but his head and his heart are both going a mile a minute, wondering what happens in the morning when the alcohol is replaced with a faint ache and the harsh daylight forces them to face this night.

"Hey. Stop thinking so much," Joey whispers. That's a side-effect of living so closely with these guys. They know him too well and it doesn't do any good to pretend he's not worrying.

Lance twists his head around to look at Joey, to really see him in this weird glow. "I'll try," he says with a little smile and Joey's answering grin is breathtaking. He kisses him slowly, and when he pulls away, his lips are a breath away from Lance's. "Okay."

Brief summary: I love how the music runs through this story, everything intertwining, the singing, at first apart and then together, bringing them all back in sync. A wonderful reunion story.

Excerpt: "Sing."

Joey blinked. Chris was still looking at him, exactly like he hadn"t just thrown a total non-sequiter into the conversation.

"Sing?"

"Sing. You remember the other night, right?"

Mostly Joey was thinking which other night, but going along with Chris was almost always easier than trying to work him out. Chris"s arm slowly bent, so Joey was de-facto draped over him, and the radio though in the den was playing. Joey tuned in on that, picking up the tune, humming it back into Chris"s shoulder.

Chris chimed in with the words, his chest rising and falling against Joey"s and somehow Joey found the energy to hit the chorus. By the end of the song the ratty, prickly tension had vanished, and he was merely tired.
