BIG DAMN TABLE

Claim: X-Men Movieverse, Rogue
Title: Nice Southern Girls
Author: Macha at The Sticky Wicket and [livejournal.com profile] thestickywicket.
Characters: Wolverine, Rogue
Prompt: 05. Sex
Rating: NC-17/Adult
Length: medium
Brief summary: It's pretty accepted in fanon that Rogue is in love with Wolverine (Logan, whatever... this superhero name thing is getting frustrating), and that he spends at least part of the time trying to resist her. I love this piece because it shows how Rogue tries to navigate between getting Wolverine to notice her and not scaring him off. And then, of course, there is the sex, with some skin issues and clever manipulation of underthings to allow it to happen. Did I mention that the sex is on a coffee table, and then the floor? Whew.

Nice Southern girls aren't supposed to talk about sex. I'd guess they're not supposed to think about it much either, pure minds and all that.

I am Southern, but I'm not very nice, and I'm certainly not a girl anymore. I can't touch other people with my bare skin, which makes sex rather challenging. And since forbidden fruit is always so damn tempting, I spend an inordinate amount of time contemplating various combinations of silk scarves and leather and latex. I've always been the masochistic type.

Plus, I spend a lot of time with Logan, and I don't know how any straight female with a pulse can sit in a room with Logan and not think about sex.

Brief summary: Written (for me!) for the [livejournal.com profile] xmmficathon X-Men Movieverse Ficathon this year, this story is really just an excuse to have Rogue get really pissed off at Logan, and for them to have a good old fashioned argument. I'm such a sucker for stories that involve fighting and Rogue's skin mutation and Logan's odd protective streak towards her, and this one hits every one of these things. And, oh yes, Logan dies at the beginning of the story... but only a little bit, promise!
