My Torchwood Table
Claim: Torchwood, General Series
Title: "One Safe Place"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Characters: Jack, Gwen
Prompt: 23. Time.
Rating: PG-13
Length: short
Brief summary: It's basically a drabble, but for it's length, it still packs quite a punch. The helplessness it conveys, and the sense that there isn't enough time to get over some mistakes. Lovely writing.
She looks at her hands, skin raw and splotchy from where Jack scrubbed too hard, and she feels nothing and everything at once. She doesn’t want to go home, to touch Rhys with her hands. How can she?
