Gundam Wing: General Rec Table

Claim: Gundam Wing: General
Prompt: 33. Crossover
Title: Find The Moon
Author: Zefyr
Rating: PG-13
Length: Epic
Characters: Duo Maxwell, Edward & Alphonse Elric
Brief summary: There are very few crossovers that's worth a second look and this fic in one of them. There's no instant and easy way to overcome the communication barrier and the author does a remarkable job in tackling Duo and the Elric brothers' character.

Duo lay curled up on the sofa, the blanket thick and warm, the cushions soft under his body for the first time in what seemed like days. He'd seen a bathroom upstairs, while wandering around behind the suit of armor with a boy's voice, but other than using the facilities, he'd balked at taking a bath. He just wasn't sure yet what the blond-haired boy wanted, or what the deal was with the suit of armor. And until then, he wasn't positive he wanted to be naked and covered with hot water if anything happened. It was one thing to have a gun in one's hand, but being naked and dripping wet - even with a gun - tended to undermine one's credibility. He stifled a snort, and continued listening.

Title: An Unexpected Christmas
Author: Dyna Dee
Rating: PG-13
Length: long
Character: All five of the boys
Brief summary: This is a touching story about how five child soldiers gets the chance to experience a truly wonderful Christmas. Focus is on Duo and his Maxwell church memories. There are no cliched characterization here though I feel that it is a tad OOC. Still, it's something to read if you're in the mood for some fluff.

Peeking into the next room, he had to stifle his laughter as his eyes lit on the other two. Heero was also on his side, but at the very edge of the bed with Duo draped over him, snoring softly. He backed out of the door and headed down the stairs to the kitchen where he could hear the old woman humming happily. He paused at the foyer and glanced out the window. A winter wonderland lay outside; a world blanketed in a thick layer of snow. The outline of many snow covered houses, similar to the two storey house they were currently residing in, surrounded the area. The fresh white snow that had apparently fallen during the night glistened brilliantly in the early morning sunshine. The Shenlong pilot frowned. He never imagined from his glance outside the window the previous evening that they were in such a closely populated area. There had been no lights to indicate that was the case.
