Claim: Nsync: Lance Bass
Title: MPREG
Author: Rhys, at Experiment V and [livejournal.com profile] rhyssj
Characters: Nsync, Kelly, Greg from Medicine Hat and a bunch of other fathers
Prompt: 08 Friendship
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: Yes, I'm actually reccing a mpreg, but this is not the kind of story people usually think of when mpreg is discussed. There is no feminisation, no hurt/comfort wallowing, and definitely no sacharine coupleness. From one viewpoint this is the story about Lance coming to terms with the fact that he's the father of Chris' baby and the growth of their relationship, but from another, and to me much more important, view it's a story about friendship. The friendship between all of the Syncers, the friendship between Lance and Chris, and Chris' new friendship with the other fathers around the world. So even if you tend to give mpregs a miss you really ought to give this story a chance. It will not disappoint you.

Joey did what Lance had done for him three years ago: gathered him a fiercely tight hug and didn't let go, not for a long time, not until Lance felt the panic pass from his body. Even then Joey held on, gently knuckling the back of his head. Lance sighed miserably, closing his eyes.

"I'm too young to be someone's dad," Lance muttered, "and maybe I don't, you know..." Lance let the words trail off, dropping like lead into a crystal clear pond. Joey got it anyway.

"Well, it looks like Chris is letting you crap out on copping to the deed, which you can't let him do, Lance. Because, dude," Joey gripped Lance by the shoulders, pushing him back until they could see eye to eye, "you're better than that, and I'd be so fucking disappointed in you."

Lance frowned. "Didn't I use this speech on you?"

"Yeah, well." Joey shrugged. "Why bother rewriting when it worked the first time?"

Claim: Nsync: Lance Bass
Title: Spot
Author: Terri, at Terri's popslash stories and [livejournal.com profile] turps33
Characters: Nsync, Spot, Diane Bass
Prompt: 27 Original Character
Rating: -
Length: short/medium
Brief summary: This is the story about Lance and his friend Spot. It's a beautiful and poignant story with a quiet almost lyrical feel to it and an ending that is at once sad and happy.

The second kiss was with Sean.

Lance was thirteen and going to fly to space one day. Walk on the moon, miles above his family who’d wait far below. Wife, children, dogs and that white picket fence. Except those dreams were fictional, like the stories of those magnificent dragons from so long ago.

Reality was Spot, and Lance’s male best friend, hands spread across open math books. Getting closer, thigh to thigh, tentative touches over exposed skin. Heart hammering when his mama yelled up the stairs, asking if they wanted snacks.

Later Lance lay against Spot’s side. Fingers pressed against his scales, he held on, warm breath against his neck. Comfort when he was afraid of a future that continued to change.
