Brief summary: During the riot Lincoln reflects on the history of his and Michael’s relationship. The core question of Prison Break probably is why Michael would go to such length to save his brother, what kind of influence his older brother had on his life. This fic makes an attempt to answer just that.

He knew how to read stories with voices, how to build Lego palaces for Michael to destroy, and how to kiss and bandage the boo-boos while their mother was at work.

Sometimes he wondered why no-one was really taking care of him that way, a seven-year-old boy who needed time and answers too. But at least Michael had him.

Brief summary: An angsty, brotherly childhood story about Michael dealing with his low latent inhibition and how it affects him when puberty hits. I like that it showcases Lincoln being able to be there for Michael in other than just a physical (fe beating people up) kind of way.

Michael loves the rhythm of his brother’s heart. When he was smaller he used to cling to his mother and nothing would quiet him down like the beat of her heart. When she fell sick and her stays at the hospital became longer and longer he held on to her hand for hours, his fingers on her pulse, desperate. He was afraid that he would lose it forever.
