Claim: Prison Break: General Series
Title: All The Pieces
Author: [livejournal.com profile] almostforgiven
Characters: Michael Scofield, Lincoln Burrows, Veronica Donovan
Prompt: 11. Character Study
Rating: R
Length: Epic
Brief summary: Pre-Series, an epic, dark journey into Michael’s mind as he goes looking for his missing brother. The slash is minimal and non-graphic, the character insights dark and haunting and the interaction with the secondary characters (Lisa, LJ, Veronica) is nothing short of excellent.

For a long moment he stood on the sidewalk and stared at the cars passing by, just considering. Considering the force it would take for a car to plough into him and kill him on the spot. Considering how the most mundane people were always the least. Considering caged lions and kink and the price of sex in a capitalist country.

He thought to the point that he lost track of time for a little while, which was so often much preferred to having it always in his mind.

Count seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven twelve...

But the numbers came back. The numbers always came back

Characters: Lincoln Burrows, Michael Scofield, LJ Burrows
Prompt: 19. Dark
Rating: NC17
Length: Medium
Brief summary: This is the fic where the most people I know said that they had a hard time looking at canon anymore without thinking about this fic interpretation of the characters and their relationships. A dark, mixed up tale of Michael, Lincoln and LJ after the escape in Panama.

„What about LJ? He might hear something."

„Then we’ll have to be quiet."

Michael wanted to tell him something, but what could he say? He didn’t know how to explain the emotions inside him and he found that to be truly funny. Him, the genius, and he couldn’t put his own feelings in words. Besides, he doubted it would matter. It was just like when they were kids. Lincoln always got what he wanted.
