Claim: Prison Break: General Series
Title: A Beautiful History
Author:
almostforgiven
Characters: John Abruzzi, Theodore Bagwell, various
Prompt: 23. Time
Rating: R
Length: Long
Brief summary: T-Bag recounts the bloody history of the shed as he is trying to weasel his way out of John Abruzzi’s shank. I love this story because it fits seamlessly into canon and reminds of all the things that are very much part of prison reality even if we do not see everything of it in canon.

Title: kahla_w’s T-Bag/Maytag universe
Author:

Characters: T-Bag/Maytag
Prompt: 13. Established Relationship
Rating: PG – NC17
Length: Epic
Brief summary: I often joke that that it says a lot about my fandom that the most in tune and realized canon couple we have, is between a predatory serial killer and his willing cellmate. The character of Maytag might not have stuck around for more than a single episode, but it was enough to capture a lot of people’s imagination. Kahla works hard to cover every aspect of their relationship, from the beginnings to the ends, meticulously dealing with the realities of prison life from food, to visitors, to trips to the infirmary, to gang rivalries.

One of his days with Cherry he pulled the boy in the shed and gave him a good looking to. Poor little Cherry couldn't take much at all, but that didn't really mind to him because it was a nice departure from the way Maytag always was. I could kill you right here. You'd be part of a beautiful history, wouldn't you boy? He whispered in Cherry's ear just before he came to try to put all those images in both their minds and pretend that he'd do it. Part 'o all that blood that's been spilled in here. You like that, Cherry? He didn't hate it because he came just as T-Bag did. People never would admit just how dirty they could get about things.

And while they pictured Maytag crying and bloody when T-Bag was finished with him, he laid sighing and snickering at how naughty it all felt, T-Bag dozing off next to him. Most times he'd crawl up into his own bunk, once his heart rate had slowed and he could gather up the energy. But some nights T-Bag would let him stay, pressed up against him in the tiny bed, and he'd fall asleep surrounded by the warmth of skin against skin.
None of the prisoners would imagine that the sheet wasn't hiding beatings and restraint and Maytag's blood on the sheets. It was concealing Maytag, biting his lip as he came to keep from crying out, and T-Bag's arm draped over the boy as they slept.
People would never say they were in love.
