Brief summary: This story fills the mood perfectly and does a great job of conveying the lazy and relaxed feeling of the boys taking a summer vacation in Baja during Michael's college days. On top of that it’s a fascinating insight into Michael’s character and does a great job of tying in canon events.

Later he would swear it was the alcohol that caused him to choose a pair of tiny black wings on the back of his right shoulder, but when Lincoln laughed the next morning and asked why he got a design that meant „freedom," Michael shot back that at least he didn’t get what looked like a big stupid bug on his arm. Lincoln glowered in response and agreed that maybe next time he shouldn’t do three shots of tequila before heading into a tattoo parlor.

Brief summary: A story, both sweet and dark about Lincoln’s reaction to the birth of his not so beloved baby brother Michael. And the mental image that closes the fic is just to die for. One of my eternal emotional favorites of the fandom.

All he knew was the arrival of the tiny stranger had robbed him of much of his mommy time and of his dad altogether. It had been the three of them before Michael had come along. It was still three of them but his father was gone. Just as Michael arrived too. Lincoln couldn’t help feeling resentful and avoided being near his brother as much as he could.
