Claim: Prison Break: General Series
Title: Faces
Author: [livejournal.com profile] almostforgiven
Characters: Theodore „T-Bag" Bagwell
Prompt: 26. Death
Rating:R
Length: Long (Epic with sequels)
Brief summary: The beginning and childhood of a serial killer, almostforgiven's language is clear and brisk and her imagery is blood laced and disturbing, masterfully mixing art and death in her words. Definitively the darkest and most unapologetic of the all the young T-Bag stories. A definitive reference point of the whole fandom.

When his mama saw him when he got home she just looked away from all the blood. He got into the shower and washed himself twelve times until the water was cold and he was bleeding in some places and for some reason it all felt better than anything else in the world.

He sat up that night drawing picture after picture of Mona alive, Mona dying, Mona dead, Mona staring, Mona running, Mona drowning, Mona hiding, Mona crying and he scratched out her faces, counting the seconds until someone found her lying there surrounded by dead squirrels and rabbits and birds and one dead dog. Counting the minutes until someone said that he might have done it. Counting the hours until he’d be back in prison. Counting the days until he’d be able to think about anything else. Counting the weeks until he’d do it again just because he could and just because it felt damn good.

He scratched out Mona’s face in another drawing and started again.

Claim: Prison Break: General Series
Title: No Good Place
Author: [livejournal.com profile] rhymeswithghoti
Characters: Theodore „T-Bag" Bagwell
Prompt: 27. Original Character
Rating: R
Length: Epic
Brief summary: Normally when you think T-Bag you picture your typical redneck trailer trash family. [livejournal.com profile] rhymeswithghoti takes him and makes him the son of a high prestige upper middle class Southern family who is later stuck with the poor branch of the family once his transgressions become too bothersome. The story of his progression towards the T-Bag we know is told through the eyes of a variety of characters from relatives to servants. It’s a great dark atmospheric tale, full of dark secrets and hypocrisy surrounding murder and child abuse. The author also created some of the most memorably supporting characters who become so popular that other people, inspired by No Good Place, started using and referencing them in their stories.

„You're not my daddy. You can't tell me what to do,“ the little monster half-sobbed. The smile Richard gave him sent shivers up her back, and she left the kitchen. She couldn't feel maternal for the little freak. He killed things, and was probably half-retarded himself.

She turned on the record player so she wouldn't have to hear him sobbing in the kitchen.
