Claim: *NSYNC: JC/Lance
Title: Joshua Chasez Diary: The Edge of Raisin
Author: Cappucino
Characters: All of *NSYNC and assorted managers, personal assistants and friends.
Prompt: #12: Humor
Rating: PG-13
Length: Epic.
Brief summary: Inspired by the novel The Diary of Bridget Jones, Cappuccino of [livejournal.com profile] fluffontop started a fake livejournal for JC Chasez at [livejournal.com profile] valiumbitch. It's kind of like the Secret LOTR diaries, except funnier, and with more twists. The journal/story draws its plot from the real-life reports in online gossip columns, or recent fan-encounters with *NSYNC members, and has regular cameos by Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz, and Lance's "personal assistant" Jesse (no, he really does exist). More than anything it tells the story of JC's neurotic relationship with Lance, his coffee addiction, and the various plots he comes up with to win Lance back. Each new lj entry starts off with hilarious shenanigans, and almost always ends with a twist that will make you go "Oh JC."

7.00 am.

Lance is taking a shower. I am in coffee-paradise. Will go back to bed once he's left, but for now I watch the early morning sky and contemplate last night, which I am still not sure how I feel about.

Whoops, HE-LLO. He comes out, towelling his hair, and I quickly decide last night was a stupid yet brilliant mistake as he walks up to the fridge in just skimpy black briefs and arms above his head.

He grins. "So, you liked your birthday present?"

I grin back. "Yes. Very nice. Your mouth is like a fucking twister, man." Because I've always had a way with sexual metaphore.

He starts frowning. "Dude, I meant the coffee-maker. The sex was not a fucking birthd-" He skakes his head.

And we're back to awkward.

Title: Lying
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lucylooo
Characters: JC, Lance, Joey
Prompt: #17: Jealousy
Rating: PG
Length: Medium
Brief summary: Lance is lying, JC has his doubts. Fairly typical love triangle setting, but there's just something about Lucy's writing that tugs on the heartstrings.

"I - " Lance started, then stopped. JC looked at him and he realized that there wasn't anything that he _could_ say.

JC nodded again and walked past him, then stopped. He started to speak, softly, his back to Lance. "We can work together," JC said. "We can work together because we have to, because we're both professionals, and we both know how to lie for professional reasons. But - there isn't anything else between us, anymore. Everything that we - that you and I - were to each other over the past three years, is over, now."

Lance nodded, even though he knew JC couldn't see it. He thought maybe JC could _sense_ it, though; he walked up to the front of the bus right afterwards and spoke to the driver.

A couple of minutes later, the bus pulled off to the side of the road, and so did the other one. Lance watched JC jump down and walk back to the three-man bus; he waited, but nobody got off, from there. Joey didn't come back to be with him.

The buses started up again, and even when they were moving it took a moment for Lance to realize that he really was all alone.
