Brief summary: I like this fic, partly because it tackles an issue that doesn't always come up in slash fic - are the guys gay? Whilst some fic will go out and say they are this fic allows the characters to come a conclusion in a believable way. I also like the way in which this first time is set up, by a celebrity coming out of the closet, it’s an interesting idea we don't often see how things we use in our daily lives, like the media, impact on characters in fics but this does it quite well. Overall it's a solid first time story that goes some way to looking at slash means.

Brief summary: This story is one that captured my imagination really early on it's just one of the best first times moving into established relationship fics I have read and it also manages to weave a credible crime plot in there too which makes it a solid all round fic. By covering both the first time bit which is tenderly done and then going into how Ray's family reacts and how they start to build a life together you are able to see the relationship develop which isn't always the case in some fics which prefer to leave it at the end of the first time this fic takes it a bit further and is all the more richer for it.
