Brief summary: Wes and Spike passing time after being trapped by an earthquake. Shrew wrote this for the Schmangst-a-thon and I just love it to bits. Can't really find words to describe it, just that it's worth the read.
Short pause, metallic click click of Spike switching the lighter on and off. "Point to you. Angelus broke my jaw every few months because I talked too much."
"Angel tried to smother me when I lay in a hospital with my throat cut."
Another pause, this time it stretches on for longer. Creak of leather, shuddering moan of the building above them that prompts more words because neither want to concentrate on the likely possibility that they will die here. "Another point to you. Angel's a son of a bitch," Spike offers.
