Brief summary: This is a another Christmas fic (I seem to reccing a lot of them) and it also another first time fic. What is important though is the message that it seems to have that someone you end up loving people who you wouldn't expect and yet it just feels right. That is certainly the case here as Ray doesn't expect to fall in love with Fraser and yet to him it feels perfectly natural. We also get a brief glimpse as to how his family might react to this and in his mother's case it’s positive as she ends up being the catalyst in this fic which is more proactive than some write her.

Brief summary: There don't seem to be many future fics that really deal with the relationship of Fraser and Ray. I'm not sure why this is perhaps because it is hard to see them in the future but Pita has managed to do a good fic tackling this here. It seems to start off with a a bit of PWP flavour but we get to see old friends gathering around the table to share anecdotes about the past. You only know how far in the future it is (28 years) by the end which perhaps help visualise it more. It's a pleasant future fic that might be sappy but presents a positive future.
