Claim: Gundam Wing General
Title: Assumptions
Author: Sunhawk
Characters: Duo mostly, but also Heero, Wufei, Quatre and Trowa along with a few OCs.
Prompt: Angst
Rating: R
Length: Medium; first story in a series.
Brief summary: This is why I volunteered to rec in this fandom. Assumptions is the first story in The Ion Arc by Sunhawk. They are complete stories but they never fail to rip the living heart out of my chest, beat it, stomp it flat and then throw it against the rocks. The stories are told in Duo's POV, and Assumptions is all about just that, Duo getting fed up with some of the other pilots assumptions about his motives and character. It's about getting along with your team mates and not judging a book by it's cover.
Here is a short excerpt:
I turned quietly on my heel and strode out of the house. I didn’t even slam the damn door. I hoped they choked on it.
You would really, really, really fucking think that a guy who killed people for a living, who called himself the God of Death in battle, who had lost every living soul who had ever meant a flying fuck to him…would not be so damn easy to hurt.
I went across the yard, glancing up once at the sun to get my bearings before I went into the trees and headed back for town. Screw it; Bill and Paige were a hell of a lot easier to get along with. It was only two miles as the crow flies and the hike might serve to cool my anger.
I knew better than to even think about taking the only car for personal reasons. I scrambled down the hill in high, hot temper until I slipped and fell and almost broke my damn leg. I stopped then and found a rock to park myself on and sat with my head in my hands and my Goddamn heart on my sleeve and just hurt. Why in the hell was I letting them get to me like this?

Title: The Gift That Keeps On Giving
Author: Gina Lin
Characters: Duo, Wufei (friendship fic, 2xH, 5xS)
Prompt: Fluff
Rating: PG
Length: Short
Brief summary: I'm going to use the lovely author's own summary here. “Two seventeen-year-old boys in a lingerie shop. Need I say more?” Really, what else is there to say?
Here is a short excerpt:
"Yes, ma'am, I'm looking for a gift. I have the sizes here." He presented a slip of paper. "Maybe you can suggest something suitable for a birthday present?"
She took the slip of paper and peered at it through her glasses.
"This is a very thorough list, young man." She raised an inquiring eyebrow.
"Yeah, we snuck into her house while she was gone and he looked at her underwear." Duo stated this proudly.
