Brief summary: Nick loves Kevin deeply and even if he's feeling both angry and hurt he's damn well going to make Kevin feel better. I love Nick's voice in this story, so matter-of-fact and straightforward and not the least bit refined.
It's been hours since Kevin came home. Of course, it had been hours before that when he'd left without a word, slamming the front door behind him and backing out of the driveway so quickly that it was a wonder he managed to miss the mail man's van that was just passing our house.
He's in his studio now, and I'm sure he has his headphones on because god forbid I might want to talk to him, or disturb his fucking solitude. He's so goddamned stubborn, and I don't know whether to be pissed off or hurt. I think I'll settle for both.

Brief summary: It's the early days in Europe and AJ gets left behind with the other babies when the rest of the guys go to a club. Lucy effectively uses all the cliches about the early days to produce a hilariously funny little story with wonderful dialogue and some great characterisation.
"I call. What're you holding, junior?"
"Three ladies," Justin said, proudly displaying his hand.
"For fuck's sake -" AJ said, tossing his cards into the pot, where Justin greedily scooped him up. "Why didn't you tell me your roomie was a cardsharp?"
Lance shrugged. "He ususally sucks."
Justin snorted.
Lance blushed again.
"That!" Nick said, pointing between the two of them. "You must have seen that!"
"Uhhuh," AJ said, sorting out the cards. "So, what?"
"So, they're -"
"Oh, grow up," AJ said. "Like you and Brian never."
Nick's mouth dropped open. "We never! AJ!"
"What?" AJ grinned.
