Characters: Ray, Fraser, the Kowalskis, Sara Knowles
Prompt: 27. Original Character
Rating: NC-17
Length: long
Brief summary: This is a funny fic, featuring a wonderful OC. Ray’s childhood friend Sara returns to Chicago, and causes a whole lot of drama and confusion for Ray and Fraser. Basically, Sara thinks Ray and Fraser are a couple, and both Ray and Fraser think that the other has a thing for Sara, even though they both have a thing for each other. Funny, light, and sexy. Sara is a tough chick, and just the kind of woman you would hope Ray would be friends with.
I find the squad room without too much trouble and walk in, hoping Ray's not going to be too hard to recognize after . . . wow, it's been more than seven years since we last saw each other. I suppose he could have changed. People do change.
"Hey! Knowles!" a familiar voice yells from across the room. Okay, Ray Kowalski doesn't change.
I smile and turn around. "Hey! Vecchio!"
I grin wider as he stops in his tracks, confused for a second when the name 'Vecchio' comes out of my mouth. Then he just shakes his head, grins back at me, and takes the last few steps until he's right there in front of me, lifting me up in a big bear hug.
Of course, I pretend to hate it. I've always pretended to hate it when he does that.

Characters: Fraser, Ray and Ray, Stella
Prompt: 35. Threesome
Rating: NC-17
Length: medium
Brief summary: I’ll admit a tiny soft spot for Ray/Ray/Fraser, and these two little fics just break my heart. And this is mostly a Ray/Ray, but it’s really about Ray and Fraser. Ray comes back to Chicago, and starts a friendship then a relationship with Vecchio, fresh off a breakup with The Stella. Fraser finally asks Ray to come back to Canada, but Ray and Vecchio continue their relationship, with Vecchio flying up to Canada when Fraser’s on patrol. Fraser doesn’t stay clueless for long, and the result absolutely kills me. While it’s necessary to pretend that Vecchio would be able to afford to fly to NWT every few weeks, these are two very lovely little fics that explore the very complicated relationships that exist between these three men.
In the morning, I don’t want you to go back to Benny. It’s the only time I ask, the only time I’ll ever ask. I hate myself the minute I say it. But it makes you smile so it’s not a total waste.
The day before what should be the forth time, you call me at midnight. Stella mumbles into her pillow and I grab the phone from the nightstand. “Vecchio?”
Your voice is low, desperate sounding. “Ben knows.”
My plane gets into Inuvik at half eight. I’ve been flying for ten hours and I’m exhausted. It’s Fraser who meets me at the airport. He doesn’t say a word; just takes my bags, holds the passenger door open, and drives me to your cabin.
You meet us at the door, take my bag. You don’t meet my eye and I wonder what I’m here for. Fraser offers me tea, which I turn down. He makes me a cup anyway, places one in front of each of us. The silence stretches and just as I’m about to scream, Benny starts to speak. His voice is hushed, broken. He sounds so sad. I’ve never felt bad about what you and me are doing. The way I saw it, he let you go, he only got you back because I let go. Now, though, I feel like shit. This isn’t “some guy” we’re hurting. This is Benny. My best friend.
