Brief summary: Justin Timberlake is the son of a police officer and he's ready for a new life, one that's more dangerous than he could have ever thought. In the racing circuit, Justin learns about what's important, what can be left behind, and how much he's willing to give up for this new life and a new love. It has twists and surprises that will leave you wondering what the author can come up with next. This is probably one of my favorite stories ever written; it's beautifully done and it grips you from the beginning. It probably also helps that I'm addicted to the world of racing.
"Justin Randall Timberlake," JC read. "Arrested back in 1999 for assault and again in 2000 for possessing an unregistered weapon. You were thrown in jail in 2001 for breaking and entering and served a 6 month prison sentence for beating someone to the brink of death with a bat. And all this before you were even legal to drink. I'm impressed that you aren't serving time right now." Justin just shrugged. It's nothing he hasn't heard before.
"But then again," JC continues. "You've been clean for the last year and a half. Now I wonder, why is that?" There's amusement in his voice.
"Could it be that it's because your mommy is the head of the police department?" JC gets up from his seat and moves around to lean against the desk in front of Justin. He chooses to move his chair back a little. Just in case.

Brief summary: JC has everything he wants with NSYNC - fame, love with Justin, his music. But he also leads a secret life where he has everything he could have hoped for in a small town. He never expected his two worlds to meet, but when they come crashing together, people are hurt and there's confusion among everyone. This story is a definitely worth a read (or a re-read) because it's something believable to the extent that we all wondered what it would be like if one of the guys had this chance. I feel that the idea may be cliched, but the story definitely isn't. The author manages to follow what's been actually going on with NSYNC and merging it with JC's second life, a definite hard thing to do.
“Hey sweetie.” JC said smiling as he heard Justin’s voice.
“Hi, JC. Did you get where ever you are safe and sound?”
“Yup. Long flight though."
“Really? Where did you fly to?”
“Justin.”
“Hey, you brought it up, not me.”
