Claim: Backstreet Boys: general
Title: Birds Do It
Author: Lucy, at [livejournal.com profile] lucy_fic
Characters: BSB
Prompt: 35 Threesome
Rating: -
Length: medium
Brief summary: Something rather suprising happens to the Boys and the only thing they can do is wait and see if it will go away again. This is a boring time for Nick but he gets his reward in the end when it turns out that some bears and bunnies do indeed mix. A warm and very funny story in the great tradition of cracked-out popslash stories where anything can happen.

"We're all turning into animals," AJ said. "The same kind that we were on the show. I think it's kind of cool."

"That's because you're a bear," Brian said. "You wouldn't say that if you were a rabbit."

"What's so bad about being a rabbit?" AJ asked, grinning. "You know what they say about fucking like bunnies, man."

"Look at my tail!" Brian said, turning around.

"What about it?" Nick asked. He turned around a couple of times, craning his neck and trying to see if he had a tail, too. It hadn't even occurred to him before that he might have one, and he wasn't sure if bears did or not.

"There's nothing wrong with it," Kevin said. "It's just very - fluffy."

Brian rolled his eyes at him. "Tell me this is going to wear off, okay? Somehow, I don't think Leighanne is going to be thrilled to find out that her husband has suddenly turned into a rabbit."

Title: Untitled story (fanfic100 prompt: red)
Author: Zoicite, at zoicite and [livejournal.com profile] zoicite
Characters: Nick, Kevin, AJ, Brian, Kristin, Marcus, Drew
Prompt: 38 Kiss
Rating: -
Length: short/medium
Brief summary: Zoicite is a goddess among Backstreet writers so this won't be the only story by her I will rec in this round. In this story Nick is trying to beat Brian, Marcus, and Drew in a scavenger hunt. The last item on his list is to get a photograph of himself kissing Kevin. This is a funny and lighthearted story with excellent characterisations and dialogue, and the kiss itself is hot, hot, hot.

Kevin is eyeing the toothpaste and hair gel and making that face, the one that Nick knows means he's thinking he should call Howie and make sure he's not tied to a chair and covered in feathers or something. Which he isn't. This time. He clears his throat. "You're not kissing me. Go back and tell Brian that he won." He turns to Kristin. "See? This is why making the house in Kentucky year round is a good idea."

"Because that will save you on tour how?"

"He has a house key too," Kevin points out.

"For emergencies," Nick clarifies. "Just in case you go off the deep end or something and we have to come save Kristin." He grabs a roll. They're still warm.

"Kentucky," Kevin says again. "They're too close."

"So you can have your mother walking in at all hours and trying to organize everything and your brother harassing us to go to church with the family every week? And the rest of your family hinting for children at every other word. Honey, Nick just wants one kiss."
