My big Choey Table

Claim: *N Sync: Chris/Joey
Title: Just About Perfect
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Characters: Chris, Joey, Kelly
Prompt: 35. Threesome
Rating: G.
Length: Medium
Brief summary: Most threesome stories for Choey are with Lance. Not this one, which is just one of the reasons I'm reccing it (It's quite original, c'mon). It's not a threesome in the strictest sense of the word, as there's no sex at all in the story, but that also makes it special because even when it's a one shot, it leaves you with the idea that maybe, the end is just a beginning.

"The next time it came up was the night Jason left the group." Joey said quietly. "This time it was me taking you to the playground to escape for a little while. You were so sure it was your fault Jason left and although I never understood why, I knew I'd do anything to make you smile again. Once you finally did smile, I realized yet again I was in love with you. I allowed myself the one night to feel it and then pushed it aside. In fact, it was then I called Kelly to try again thinking maybe she could help me forget."

"It was my fault Jason left." Chris said stunned.

Joey shook his head. "It doesn't matter now. Lance has been so much better for NSYNC then Jason ever could have been." Chris could only nod his agreement to this before Joey continued. "Anyway, I'd pushed my feelings for you aside again and called Kelly who was more then willing to attempt our relationship another time. We got Lance into the group and then we were on such a whirlwind for so long I didn't have the chance to dwell on my feelings for you. We were all getting so much closer anyway and it allowed me to be close to you without having to rationalize or make excuses and I was happy. Plus, Kelly was always there when I needed something more then a brief fling."

Title: Whole
Author: Amy [livejournal.com profile] amy13
Characters: Chris, Joey, Lance, Justin, JC
Prompt: 39. Break up
Rating: Not rated (But there's no graphic stuff)
Length: Short.
Brief summary: Amy wrote some great Choey back in the day, and Whole is, in my opinion, the very best of the lot. Chris and Joey get together, under only one condition: No one can know. Then the guys find out. It's written on second person, which is hard, but makes it even more beautiful, and yes, painful at moments. I cry every time I re read it.

"You know it would be. It would be professional suicide. We're. We're in a boyband, man. And as much as we all like to think we'd be able to keep it up if we did all the things we wanted to do, we have a very specific image of what we're supposed to be, and I just. I know Lou was an asshole, but when he sat us down that first week after we got signed and he told us that the label wouldn't react well to any of us being gay, or in a relationship with a guy. We... we all agreed then, and I agree now- it can't work long-term. I don't see us being able to break out of that. Not yet, anyways."

"Fuck," Chris mutters, looking away. "Well. So, what do we do now?" he asks you.

You study his face for several seconds, before leaning over and kissing him quickly on the lips.

"We're careful. We don't tell anyone, and we see how it goes," you say.
