Characters: Wolverine/Rogue
Prompt: 07. Love
Rating: Mature
Length: long
Brief summary: Rogue thinks that Jean will always be Logan's first choice to love. Logan takes her on a trip to convince her otherwise. This story was described to me by Steph (
iamtheenemy) thusly: He takes her to a cabin! They have sex! And then he tracks her! Through the snow! To show her how much he loves her!! Exactly, my friends.
"Where are we?" She could barely find the thoughts to put together into speech.
"Canada, one hour ago." He pulled the rest of the blanket and sheet from under her hips. His voice was rough. "Go to sleep."
"I need m'gloves." She felt naked without them.
"No you don't."
The blanket settled over her and she stopped trying to fight the exhaustion and let herself drift off. There was an fanciful moment where she thought he brushed rough fingers through her hair.
Had to be her imagination. She wasn't Jean.

Title: "Songs of a Wayfarer"
Author: Marguerite at Gray Area.
Characters: Wolverine/Rogue
Prompt: 09. Hurt/Comfort
Rating: R
Length: longish
Brief summary: Logan writes Rogue e-mails from May to December. I'm not usually a fan of fic written as letters, and especially not as e-mails (I'm really an old lady at heart), but this one is a good one, and captures tone and personality through e-mail thoroughly. Also? Logan is grumpy even in his e-mails, if you wondered.
5/4
First thing you have to know, I hate email. Hell, I hate MAIL, period. But before I left I the Professor gave me this damned laptop and wireless hookup, then made me promise to keep in touch, and I'd rather write to you than him.
I'm staying in a motel just south of D.C. Nice place, you'd like it, lots of smelly girly crap in the bathroom that I can't get out of my nose even with the caps on all the way and the door closed. Plus, they won't let me smoke in the room.
I gotta get a new camper.
Anyway, this is the letter I promised to send to tell you that I'm okay and you don't need to worry about me being hurt or lost. I'll check this e-mail address once a day.
