Why this must be read There are a lot of post SenII fics out there, and this one really captures the sense of disconnect that had to be present between Jim and Blair after they returned home. The reconnect isn't smooth and sweet-instead it's awkward and uncomfortable and painful and real.

Why this must be read This is an amazing-gripping-painful-powerful vision of what could be. This story left me stunned the first time I read it. When you finish it-go check out Legion's a/u of this a/u-equally amazing, and a prime example of why fanfic from fanfic can be an excellent thing.

I'm sorry. I just went to Legion's site to get the link and it looks like the story-Storm Signs, and the sequel Eye of the Storm have been taken down-they are being reedited for zine publication. I don't know the time period on that so I don't know if they will be available on line. National Security is actually the first part of the Panther Tales-which is available on-line and also in a zine.

Lemme check my other comp's hard drive. Now that I have a title, I may find I have it! Or, I'll check the Waybackmachine site. Funny how when you google "Legion national security", the stuff that comes back is all distinctly non-sexy! :/ Thanks for the continuing recs and the title!
