Brief Summary: This is one of my favorite fics out there (obviously, or else I wouldn’t be reccing it) and the story is so original that everyone should read this. If it’s a little confusing at the start, don’t let that stop you from reading on, everything makes sense once things get moving along. I don’t wanna give too much away because it’s too much fun trying to figure out what’s going on in the beginning, but I will say that real life and fiction get mixed up.

The second fic ever written by Dayse in the fandom, is still one of the best choeys I've ever read (and the fic that made choey my otp in the fandom). Not only both Chris and Joey sound real, their reactions as the week progreses are logical and the other guys, who are aware of what's going on even when they're not supposed to, also ring true. All in all? One of those fics that are worth reading and rereading all over again.

Brief summary: I usually don't read true UST stories, my personal tastes go more for the happy ending, but Fear Based Responses is one of the few stories where the sexual tension is kind of one sided, Chris remains clueless for the whole fic, and is absolutely unresolved, which made it the only story that came to my mind for the prompt. The rest of the group practically don't appear in this story, but it's all right because at the end it's a Joey story, and a very good one at that.

Often, H/c stories end up pretty bloated in their word count, so it's really nice to find one that is so precise. The summary is simple -- off world, Rodney is bitten by a snake that the locals say is poisonous, and John struggles to save him -- but it's the warmth and humor of their friendship even when stress like this, that really makes the story shine.
