My Big Damn Table
Claim: NSYNC, Justin/JC
Title: Nobody's Fault But My Own

Characters: Justin, JC
Prompt: 11. Character Study
Rating: R
Length: medium
Brief summary: This is as close as a JuC story will ever come to character study I do believe. This story incorporates many quotes from Justin's interview with The Advocate where they asked him many questions about having gay fans, gay associates, rumors of him being gay...and his answers set each scene of the story. Not only do I love the interview, but I love the scope of this story. There are bits from as far back as MMC, but the story mostly deals with Justin in the near future after releasing an album that doesn't do very well. With JC's help Justin realizes that he has to be honest with himself and do what makes himself happy. This story is very Justin-centric, with only flashes of JC, but they are good flashes that establish him as Justin's strength.

Title: ...In Bed

Characters: Justin, JC, Nick Carter
Prompt: 33. Crossover
Rating: R
Length: medium
Brief summary: So there is a theme to the recs in this post - both stories include fun quotes and the stories span many years. This story includes fortunes from fortune cookies...which of course get "...in bed" added to the end. This story is all about how Justin and JC keep coming back together, from MMC to NSYNC to solo projects, and it is full of wonderful moments showing how JC is always the person who knows how to get Justin through the difficult times. After years of being best friends, Justin realizes that he feels more than friendship for JC - but JC is casually seeing Nick Carter at the time. Non-AU crossovers are hard to come by in JuC stories...
