Brief summary: This is a remix of my choice for #03-Angst, Night Breeze. In it, she fleshes out the story a bit more, incorporating more details of Teyla's history and her determination, her relationship to both John and Rodney, and how she feels as Atlantis falls. There is some very lovely imagery in this.
She takes a breath that stutters in her lungs and winces when it *hurts*; it makes an odd rattling noise that reminds her of serpents hiding in the brush of Athos, of her father warning her that her recklessness would one day get her bit. Despite that, she takes another breath and then another and with the third, she finds that her dizziness is beginning to fade, becoming manageable even if actual movement seems to be more of a long-shot.
However, Teyla Emmagan, daughter of Tagan and Horan, is used to doing impossible things.
