My Bruce/Dick Table
And this is the last of my recs for this set!

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 09. Hurt/Comfort.
Title: "Seven Night"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17
Length: medium
Brief summary: You just have to appreciate characters that are this fundamentally fucked up. It's fodder for all the great fic. As in, plausible and meaningful hurt/comfort fics. So there's this little gem, where we have Bruce's demons and Dick being the adult and some killer imagery gut-punching you at the end. It's very good, and even if you know nothing about the canon and the characters, it still manages to do the essential in this genre: hurt and comfort.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 29. Intoxication.
Title: "Make The Bed That You Were Born In"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17
Length: long
Brief summary: One way to get around the angst in this fandom (or most of it) is the "Bad Guys Made Them Do It"/"Intoxication" genre of fic. And I do love this particular fic an awful lot, for being light-hearted and sexy, yet still meaningful. There should be more intoxication fic like this, is all I'm saying!

(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 41. Guilt.
Title: "Eyes in a moon of blindness"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: R
Length: long
Brief summary: Bad things happen to the people in Bruce's life. He can't forget it, or the guilt that he feels because of it. Dick does what he can to help, though it might not be enough. The fic has a great moody tone and offers no resolutions. Very much worth a read.

My Bruce/Dick Table

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 22. UST.
Title: "Routine"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17
Length: medium
Brief summary: I would say that UST is the center of this fandom. Every joke about gay subtext in comics probably started with Batman and Robin. Yet because of how the world is, and who the characters are, nothing is ever resolved. Bruce is always going to be suffocated by duty, wary and watchful. And this fic takes that whole concept and brings it to the next level. Of watching. And Dick knowing that he's being watched. So-- unresolved, sexual and tense. Check.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 11. Character Study.
Title: "Not A Heart, Beating"
Author: Brighid
Rating: R
Length: long
Brief summary: Two Face escapes from jail, Bruce has angst and Dick is practical. I love the way the author writes Dick. The voice is right on; edgy and insightful but still humourous. And what the fic has to say about Bruce really pings. All in all, a really great character study.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson (Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 02. AU.
Title: "Hanging Work"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17 (eventually)
Length: epic
Brief summary: The premise of this AU is so simple, that it's perfect and genius. What if it wasn't Bruce who took charge of Dick after the murder of his parents? This is a long and multi-chaptered fic (I linked to the index). So it really takes it's time to explore the new dynamic and the differences in both of their worlds. It's fantastic! And it should be read immediately.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 01. First Time.
Title: "The secret of durable pigments"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17
Length: epic
Brief summary: There are a lot of first times in this fic. The basic plot is that Dick needs a release of tension to keep him focused. And Bruce, being all about focus, helps him. So yes, it is porn first and foremost. But it has lovely character details and angst, and Petra is one of the best in this fandom. I should warn for the adult/young boy sexing but if you aren't easily squicked, I very much recommend the fic.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 19. Dark.
Title: "Trespassing"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: PG
Length: medium
Brief summary: If you were to close your eyes and point at a fic from this fandom, more than likely that fic will be dark. I chose this fic because I think it's perfect for the prompt. Nothing is ever explicitly said or done in the piece, but however you choose to interpret the ending, it's still a bit chilling. The fic is so subtle and clever and (I think) vaguely disturbing that I have to recommend it.

Prompt: 25. Kink.
Title: "Seizin"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: NC-17
Length: long
Brief summary: In which Bruce sees his mark on Dick and decides to make good on the claim. The fic is just all kinds of hot. Yet still dirty and wrong, the way great Batman fic should be. Read it, enjoy it.

Claim: DC Comics, Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson
(Batman/Robin I)
Prompt: 31. Discovery.
Title: "Gotham City Serenade"
Author: The Rhipodon Society
Rating: PG
Length: epic
Brief summary: Thank you, General Omnipotent Deity, for the Wayback Machine. Because I love this fic and would have been sad without it. I paired it with the Discovery prompt because there's a lot for Bruce to discover in this fic. Where Dick has been, what happened to him and who was involved. Most importantly, what happens now?
