here's another rec for a German story. It's for the Epiphany prompt.

Before you start to read maybe I should explain what this story has to do with Epiphany. Well Epiphany is the holiday of the three Magi (January 6th) and those three Magi play a great role in the history of Cologne because here at Cologne you can visit their shrine at the dome. So the Magi are kind of city saints of Cologne, their crowns are even part of the city arms of Cologne. So I chose a story set in Cologne written for the German tv series SK Kölsch.

Diese Empfehlung ist für den Epiphany-prompt. (Das heißt auf deutsch entweder Erleuchtung oder Epiphanias. *g*)

Bevor Ihr jetzt gleich mit dem Lesen anfangt, sollte ich vielleicht noch erklären, was diese Story mit Epiphanias zu tun hat. Epiphanias ist das Fest der Heiligen drei Könige (6.Januar) und eben diese drei Könige spielen in der Stadtgeschichte von Köln eine große Rolle, steht doch ihr Schrein im Kölner Dom. Sie sind also sozusagen die Stadtheiligen und Ihr könnt auch ihre drei Kronen im Stadtwappen von Köln wiederfinden. Daher ist das Setting dieser Story Köln zu der Serie SK Kölsch.

First of all SK Kölsch-Fanfiction itself is really rare and so something special. This story really gives you a warm, christmassy feeling and just leaves you smiling. I should mention that the setting of this story really is very German because it includes soccer (Fußball). *g* Oh, btw. what a coincidence it's not only Cologne Taube also has kind of epiphany.

Warum man diese Story unbedingt lesen sollte:
SK Kölsch-Fanfiction an sich ist ja schon eine echte Rarität. Und dann gibt einem diese Story noch so ein warmes, weihnachtliches Gefühl und zaubert ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht. Vielleicht sollte ich noch erwähnen, daß diese Story allein schon wegen der Fußballanspielungen sehr deutsch ist. *g* Ach ja, die Story spielt nicht nur in Köln, es kommt übrigens auch eine Art Erleuchtung drin vor.
