Big Damn Table.

Claim: Stargate Atlantis: Teyla
Title: No, Really
Author: basingstoke([livejournal.com profile] basingstoke)
Characters: Team Fiction: Ronon, Teyla, Rodney, John
Prompt: 16 - Teamwork
Rating: Mature
Length: Medium
Brief summary: Yes, indeed. It's time for another team orgy story. The initial set-up is that the group is trapped in a cave, and has to work together to get out. For me, the transitional event that takes the characters from frustration to sex requires some acceptance of a push to Rodney's characterization, but going with it is vastly rewarded. (IMO, of course.) It's funny and fun, and very light-hearted; plus the dialog snaps.

Ronon leaned back on John's other side, and all four of them watched the disc of light crawl up the wall. The sun was setting sooner, not later. "So, human pyramid was a failure. I'm open to suggestions," John said.

"I suggest we save our urine," Rodney said.

"Ew?" John remarked, his lip curling.

"Hey! The sooner we start, the longer we live!"

Claim: Stargate Atlantis: Teyla
Title: Amends and Promises
Author: tielan([livejournal.com profile] tielan)
Characters: Teyla, Ronon, John
Prompt: 17 - Jealousy
Rating: PG-13
Length: Long
Brief summary: I had a hard time finding a story to fit this category as apparently, Teyla does not get jealous. However, John does, and in this story, he believes that Teyla and Ronon are involved, and so he has to the fraternization discussion with them, as they are getting 'too close.'. Add into that the kiss from conversion, and a little supposition that Teyla was not as against the idea as it may have appeared, and the story's flow becomes very clean.

"If you wish to know what is happening between Ronan and I, Colonel, then you should ask directly."

John grimaced. He'd hoped to be a little subtler. "All right, then," he said. "What is happening between you and Ronan?"

"That is none of your business," came the response.

"I think it is," he said firmly, ignoring the startled look on her face. A moment later, he continued, carefully professional. "As your commanding officer - and his - I need to know if there's anything happening between you."

Her eyes narrowed. "I do not see how this is relevant to your leadership."

"It's relevant because you have to work together," John said, irrationally angry. "If you're personally involved then that could affect your professional interaction."
