It's always a pleasure to recommend your stories in general and this one particularly. Not only do I like it for all the reasons stated but because it focuses on smell, instead of the more commonly used sight or hearing.

Scents are so evocative and you have such great descriptions, not only of the smells but what they evoke in Jim's imagination. I alway chuckle at what he thought they were doing with that hot wax! It's truly a story I never tire of re-reading.
