A Hat Never Lies and Love Potion
My Harry Potter:Neville Longbottom Table
Claim: Harry Potter: Neville Longbottom
Prompt: 11: Character Study
Title: A Hat Never Lies
Author:

Rating: PG
Length: Short
Brief summary : Neville gen. Neville has several conversations with the sorting hat in his first year at Hogwarts. It’s perfect!
After about an hour of wandering, Neville managed to find his way to the Headmaster's office and stood, slightly quivering, in front of the gargoyle.
"P-please," he said to it. "I'd like to speak to the Headmaster, please."
The gargoyle suddenly jumped aside. Neville shrank back, then forced himself to leap onto the staircase as it ground slowly upwards. The gargoyle slid closed behind him and he shuddered. As he came to the top of the stairs, Neville found a large, polished door with a heavy griffin-shaped doorknocker. He knocked, tentatively at first. No reply came, and he shuddered for a long moment before working himself up to knock again with more force. After another long moment, he steeled himself and opened the door.

Brief summary: Charlie/Neville pairing and I should warn for Mpreg but well it’s just funny and there’s a lovely nod to
florahart in it too!
Draco nodded and plucked the flower from its vial. "Mmhm. We've developed a good potion to help prevent miscarriages. Of course, vimistula's an old-fashioned fertility ingredient too, but we've got better ones now with fewer side effects. Been out of favour in Europe for decades but now since it’s being used to prevent miscarriages, this ugly blossom is back in fashion. Still, I wouldn't make a tea from it, if you know what I mean." He wiggled an eyebrow and Neville felt like he might be sick himself.
Neville stopped by the chemist's on the way home and picked up a bottle of anti-nausea medicine that the label proclaimed "safe for pregnant and nursing women," and a few bottles of fizzy lemonade.
He squared his shoulders before entering their flat, trying to put on a game face despite having no clue as to how he was even going to suggest to Charlie that he might be, well, "in the family way" as his Gran liked to say.
