It's the ultimate in reader wish fulfillment -- the conversation you wish Jack and Samantha had, or would have had after "Fallout." It's heartfelt, hurtful, but most of all, honest. The author has great insights into the delicate balance of this relationship, and how difficult an actual friendship may be for two people who not only have had a romantic history, but who still have feelings for each other.
