Claim: X-Men Movieverse, Rogue
Title: "Feed Me to the Tabloid Monster"
Author: Troll Princess at [livejournal.com profile] trollprincess.
Characters: Rogue/Bobby and assorted other X-Men.
Prompt: 15. Crack!Fic
Rating: PG-13
Length: long
Brief summary: I should probably tell you right now that it's an mpreg. I won't lie, I love mpregs and find them absolutely hilarious (when your first fandom is popslash, nothing fazes you afterwards, and you have a strange penchant for AUs and crackfic). Bobby's bewildered confusion about being pregnant, as well as the explanation behind it, are both priceless. This fic is sweet, funny, well-written, and throws in a Smallville reference -- what else could you want?

"Alas, you're very much a pregnant man." Forcing himself to not smile, Hank grabbed a stethoscope from the nearby counter and moved back over to me as he put it on.

He reached to put the flat part against my stomach and I smacked his hand away. "How could that even have happened?"

With all of the seriousness he could muster, Hank plastered on a caring smile, placed a hand on my shoulder, and said, "Robert, did some boy get you into trouble?"

Claim: X-Men Movieverse, Rogue
Title: Thirty Days Has September
Author: Macha at [livejournal.com profile] thestickywicket.
Characters: Wolverine/Rogue
Prompt: 16. Teamwork
Rating: NC-17, for the smutty goodness
Length: medium to longish
Brief summary: Wolverine and Rogue are X-Men who go undercover in the mutant-unfriendly South. It's spy-tastic/CIA/undercover teamwork meets hot smutty sex in a motel room, plus a dive bar and beer. It's also fun to watch Wolverine pretend to pick up Rogue in the bar... you'll see what I mean.

Dispensing with the subtle approach, Logan swaggered right up to Marie and tried not to smile. "Beer?"

She looked up at him through a curtain of her hair. "That's your pickup line?"

Logan couldn't quite contain the grin this time. Her soft chocolate voice sounded ten times better than he remembered. He leaned closer. "I don't do pickup lines, darlin'. You want the beer or not?"

He could see the amusement in her eyes as she pretended to consider his offer. "My mama told me never to turn down a free drink."
