crack!fic is a fic that is so random, impossible and crazy that it seems like the author wrote it while they were on drugs. Or that the story itself is on drugs. It's still good and well-written of course, just completely abnormal.

UST is an abbreviation. It means unresolved sexual tension. Fics where the characters are really attracted to each other but can't act on that attraction.
