"You're going to pay for that," his brother growls, advancing towards him.
Looking around for an escape route Michael realizes he's suddenly trapped, his legs backing him against the wall seemingly of their own volition. He's all too aware of deep red blood, shining, trickling from Lincoln's nose, catching at the corner of his mouth, turned up in a smirk. Lincoln's left arm rests against the wall near Michael's head, his right arm near Michael's side, holding him in place.
"I'm sorry," he says and he mostly is.
