Length: EPIC
Brief summary: Part 1 Two years after Voldemort has been vanquished, Ginny Weasley is safe, settled, reliable, and completely unsatisfied. An unsigned letter could change all of those things with three little words. Part 2 Ginny's too much of a Weasley not to know right from wrong-- and she knows it's wrong to stay with a man who doesn't care for her and who has more troubles than he can count. Part 3 How can an already shaky relationship survive when everyone and all odds are against it? I couldn't NOT put all three of these fics as the rec... they are all equally good and if you are anything like me you HATE to see a fic end... so, here are 3 absolutly fabulous reads... you really feel Draco's despiration here... and Ginny's lack of Pride becomes a huge issue... interesting to read! Just remember -- Draco is NOT his father! ;) (Since there are 3 fics, I've opted not to leave an excerpt this time... sorry!)

Brief summary: Ginny dies. Harry delivers her mail. The world changes. This is a pretty twisted fic... set in the future after the Magical world has been 'outed' into the Muggle. I had to read it twice to really feel the impact of the words... but it is beautiful... though dark. Oh yeah... and BTW - it's Draco who feels the loss.
"I'm going on holiday."
Griffith chokes on his coffee. "You sodding what? I don't think so, sonny."
Harry watches him steadily. He hasn't bothered to close the office door behind him, and out of the corner of his eye he can see that outside, the secretary and the comms boy have stopped gossiped and started gawking.
"Don't think you can pull your mysterious magical intimidation on me, boy," Griffith says. "You don't frighten me, I know you've been branded. And you're under contract, so if you think you can just swan about declaring that you're pissing off when I've got a situation in --"
"I don't care if you have a nudist witch colony in Piccadilly," Harry says, but he kicks the door shut before leaning forward, pressing his fists on the piles of paperwork. "I have a lead on Draco Malfoy."
